Wow! The year 2020 has been quite the year and we're not even half-way finished! While just about everything has opened back up in the Lowcountry we're seeing an increase in diagnosed cases of Corona in SC. I've noticed that more folks have gone back to wearing masks in public. I hope that everyone stays safe during this pandemic. While we might think we're through with COVID-19, it's not through with us. Stay safe out there!
Have fun, get outside, and stay safe!! It's amazing how our lives have changed in the last couple of months since things started being locked-down/ quarantined to "flatten the curve". Shopping, movie theaters, school, college, work, dining, etc.... And the experts say it will never be the same. The cool thing, though is that we are GREAT at adapting, being flexible, and overcoming odds. While things will (and have changed) we're going to find a way to accomplish our goals and dreams. Things certainly have changed in Real Estate. Like other businesses, we talk about being "Open For Business", just not "Business As Usual." During this time, everyone's safety is paramount. Whether we're showing homes with buyers, or meeting with homeowners to prepare and get their homes on the market to sell, we're taking serious safety precautions. Here are some of the precautions being taken by The Litchfield Company. Meeting w/ Clients
I will continue to attend various benchmarks that occur after a home is Under Contract by following recommended safety protocols (masks, gloves, social distancing)
(Note: 5/12/2020 As we progress as a nation through this Pandemic, safety precautions may change based on a variety of factors. Please know that I care about my clients and will make every effort to provide a safe and enjoyable experience or you. If at any point you have a question or a concern, just ask!) I hope you're doing well and are safe, healthy, and happy. Like the rest of the country, SC and local municipalities are making decisions about how to safely move towards a new normal by incrementally opening up public waterways & beaches, and more businesses. The photo is of two of my daughters from a couple of years ago. Every time I look at photos of recent activities or watch a TV show or movie, I'm constantly thinking "they're not social distancing!" It's a whole new world and we're going to get through it together. If there's anything that I could help you with, please let me know. Please enjoy! It's amazing how things have changed for us in the U.S. over the last week or so. Cancellations, worry, stress, homeschooling, shortages, sickness... the list is extensive. The uncertainty and fear can lead to intense, negative thoughts, emotions, and actions. I encourage you to listen to this podcast and come up with a plan to help your friends, your family, and you to pay attention to your thinking. It all starts with our Thoughts. Are our thoughts serving us (and others)?
